Challenges and Solutions: Professional Ethics for Employment Attorneys

Employment attorneys inevitably face unique ethical dilemmas in representing clients, whether representing employees or management.  Issues such as conflicts of interest, confidentiality, ex parte access to current and former managers and employees, waiver and informed consent, joint representation of employer and accused, as well as settlement agreements and agreements not to represent similar plaintiffs will all be addressed. In addition, the most recent ethics opinions issued by the State Bar will also be examined. We are fortunate to have two outstanding and entertaining speakers cover these topics and provide solutions for the ethical challenges that face employment and corporate attorneys.
